NETFLIX’s recent thriller, A Nearly Normal Family, has had fans on edge with its creepy and unsettling scenes.

Fans of the Swedish drama have urged others to watch too, claiming it’s a ‘top priority’ watch.

Netflix‘s Swedish series En Helt Vanlig Familj, translated into A Nearly Normal Family, is set in Lund, Sweden, and based on M.T. Edvardsson’s book of the same name.

The six-part drama follows the Sandell family, going through a murder investigation and forced into making impossible decisions.

The synopsis for A Nearly Normal Family reads: “The world of a seemingly perfect family shatters when a shocking murder proves that they’re willing to make desperate moves to protect one another.”

Netflix viewers who watched the series took to Rotten Tomatoes and X(Twitter) to express their views on the film. 

One Rotten Tomatoes user said: “Binged the six episodes in two days.”

A second typed: “A Nearly Normal Family is a great watch. Foreign Netflix really doesn’t miss.”

A third expressed: “Netflix show recommendation: A Nearly Normal Family.”

“A Swedish show which has English translations. The show dives into some heavy topics right at the start but absolutely amazing storytelling”.
