Fans of the Swedish brand need to rush to B&M if they want to snap up the latest treat.
The strawberry flavour is a limited edition and given the popularity of the choc, it might be gone before you know it.
The Swedish sweet is usually made from crunchy almond caramel with milk chocolate but this time a fruity twist has been added to it.
An eagle-eyed customer discovered this new Daim bar while shopping at B&M and posted the find on a Facebook group Newsfooduk.
The anonymous poster wrote: “Can’t wait to try these!”
Fans of the brand have flocked to the comments to express their excitement over the new flavour.
One person wrote: “These would be soooo nice!
Another person added: “Omg my favourite chocolate bar with my favourite fruit.”
A third commenter wrote: “Now they do sound good!”
“Oooh I’ll have to give them a try. I love the orange ones,” someone else said.
Some chocolate lovers weren’t convinced though – and doubted whether the combination of strawberry and Daim bar would work together.
One person said: “might be sickly,” worrying that the added fruit would make the treat too sweet.
Another one added: “I’ll give them a go.. but I don’t expect to like them.”
Daim previously released a limited edition orange flavour at Iceland, sending fans into frenzy.
The Brit favourite chocolate bar had shoppers thrilled about the price, selling only at £1.
And in 2019, Daim created a limited edition Lemon flavoured chocolate bar – but not everyone was convinced.
Like the classic Daim, the bars have a core of crunchy almond caramel filling, but in this version was covered in lemon flavoured milk chocolate.
Many people have questioned how well chocolate, caramel and lemon go together.
The Swedish chocolate brand makes the crunch almond caramel chocolate bars in a variety of flavours.
B&M offers mint, white chocolate, blueberry and coke, just to name a few.
The great discovery comes after Ikea announced it was removing Daim bars from its shelves in the UK.
Chocolate lovers were able to buy Daim bars in the food market section of Ikea‘s 22 UK stores.
A pack of Daim mini (460g) costs £5.95 and a Daim almond cake (400g) is £4.95.
But fear not – those with a sweet tooth will still be able to pick up Daim bars at other retailers in the UK.
For example, Asda and Morrisons both sell a multipack of three 28g bars for £1.25.
